INTRO: Curious Sofa has been specializing in slipcovered sofas for over 13 years. Our American manufacturer has built a solid reputation as an honest, reliable and hardworking company that is proud of the tailoring, quality and attention to detail that is put into each piece you order.
FRAMES: All frames are built by hand in the USA using only kiln-dried alder wood. Each frame is double doweled, corner blocked, glued and secured together with industrial grade metal staples. Sofa legs are screwed into corner blocks so they can be easily removed for home installation. Quality 8-guage, no-sag, sinuous springs are applied to the front and back rails of the frame and then clamped together with Teflon wire to prevent shifting.
CUSHIONS: All of sofa cushions are made of our Featherloft fill: 50% cluster fiber, 45% duck feather and 5% duck down. Featherloft fill is blown into the individually stitched baffles to prevent shifting for all back and bottom cushions. Seat cushions feature a zippered envelope that is fitted with a foam core. Back cushions are solid Featherloft. Regular and proper care extends the life of the cushions. Flipping and fluffing the cushions on a regular basis will help keep them looking and feeling like new.
